We are delighted to announce that our meetings are to resume with our AGM. This will take place on
WEDNESDAY 11th May – 7.00 – 8.30 pm
in our new venue:
ABINGTON PARK MUSEUM
We have a special guest speaker:
RICHARD CHURCH who will speak about his book about the history of his family business and their part in the social history of Northampton and Abington – where he grew up.
Richard will have copies of his book on sale at the special price of £10.00
Many apologies for the short notice, but it has been complicated to bring this together. We are excited about the new venue which offers wonderful accommodation for our meetings and comfortable surroundings. We do hope you agree and that you will be able to meet with us on this landmark occasion. As this is our AGM – there will be brief reports from the officers (to be circulated in advance) and, most importantly, news of plans for the coming year.
Officers will be elected and we we need more of you to join the small group who make up the management committee. If you could offer us any time or support we would welcome you – it is not onerous and our plans are growing to meet the increasing role of the park in the life around the town.
