Boules
This facility was installed by the Friends in 2015. It is an open and free to use facility. The area is popular with families, visitors of all ages and also local team players.
Aviaries
The aviaries are one of the most popular areas in the park They are open during daylight hours. They are continually updated and improved and have recently been repainted in collaboration with Northampton College.
sport and Leisure
The tennis courts can be booked for a small fee. Bookings and payment for the tennis courts are now managed by Premier Tennis. Click here to book tennis courts at Abington Park
Fitness trail
From cross trainers to air walkers and hip twisters, the park contains a trail of eight pieces of fitness apparatus for you to try and enjoy.
Bandstand
This is one of the original Victorian installations. It is maintained by Northampton Borough Council who also fund the bands who play regularly each Sunday afternoon between May and October.
Childrens play area
This area is probably the most popular part of the park. It is maintained by Northampton Borough Council.
