The friends have linked with 2 of our community gardens, Bees be happy and Sports4Fitness who are donating plants to the bee garden.
The groups run a regular gardening group on a Monday and with their volunteers share and prepare plants for the local community. We are delighted that these plants are going into the park to be enjoyed by many visitors.
Tracey visited the gardening group on Monday and enjoyed a masterclass delivered by Sandra around all aspects of propagation. There are more plants to come and will be available in a few weeks, these will be for the sunnier areas.
The plants that were saved by Tom and the Friends from Workbridge are also doing well in the garden, and we look forward to seeing this area evolve with lots of flowers and colours over the next few months.
A wonderful example of the community coming together to make a difference to an area that Caz has worked hard on over the last few years.
