The Association was formed in 2010 by like-minded residents who wanted to work together to create a safe, friendly, and welcoming environment for all residents, their families, and friends.
Formerly Bridgewater Residents Association, the name changed to reflect the wider community that we represent. Our members come from across the Abington Vale area.
A Committee is elected each year to work with and on behalf of our residents to represent their views and concerns and enhance, develop and care for our beautiful Abington Vale Park and surrounding areas and its people.
Since the Association was formed, there has been a great deal of work behind the scenes to improve our local area often working in partnership with local councillors, Northampton Town Council, West Northamptonshire Council, local organisations and funding bodies
Along with activities and events held throughout the year we host monthly coffee mornings and evening residents meetings.
There is a one-off membership of £10 per household.
