The Garden was awarded ‘Outstanding’ by the RHS Its Your Neighbourhood scheme in 2024.
The Peace Garden in its current form was initiated some three years ago. The circular flowerbed is divided into sections with each tended by a different community group or charity. Groups meet on Thursday mornings to tend and plant the beds. Currently spring flowers are in bloom.
